2023 REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

11U, 13U and 15U Prospect Showcase Tournaments

Baseball Manitoba is again planning 11U, 13U and 15U Prospect Showcase Tournaments. Winnipeg South Minor Baseball plans to enter 2 teams in each of the three age categories, depending on the number of interested players.

The purpose of these showcase tournaments is to give non AAA players an opportunity to develop and participate in a higher level of baseball. The teams will be 11U (born 2012, 2013), 13U (born 2010, 2011) & 15U (born 2008, 2009). Players will participate at the age level they were registered for in the 2023 regular season. Should you wish your child to move up to the next age level, please contact me directly and this may be possible if space is available. 

To maintain the developmental focus of these events, no medals or awards will be presented, nor will winning teams advance to any further competition.

If your child is interested in participating in the Prospect Showcase, please complete the attached registration form prior to June 25th.

Registration fee per player will be $140, which includes a cap and jersey, and can be paid by e-transfer to treasurer@winnipegsouth.net .  Please use password: Prospects when sending the e-transfer.

Please note registration is not complete until payment has been received.

Team coaches are still being finalized so opportunities may exist for parents to assist in coaching. Please contact Sandy Maskiw at vpsportdevelopment@winnipegsouth.net  and indicate your interest in the applicable area of your child’s registration.
